Hi
I've loved horses since I was about 7 years old and watched Walt Disney's "The Horsemasters". From there I read "National Velvet" over and over again. I've never lost the passion. I taught jumping lessons since I was 16yrs old and showed A circuit hunters. I got tired of forcing horses to do things un-natural to them so I started doing my own version of natural horsemanship. My main mentors are Pat and Linda Parelli, Mary Ann Simonds and Mark Rashid. My mare Cat Dancing has also been a great influence and guided me in my horse education. I've learned from each horse in my life. Mel my gelding has been my latest influence. He has taught me more humility and patience. Natural horsemanship even seems too contrived and planned to me now. We just are together as a herd and family. I'm a holistic consultant for horse care, animal communicator and healer, herbalist, flower essence practicioner and maker of custom to your horse hoof boots called Horse-Mocs.

I've been married 33 years to a wonderful man and have no children but the furry ones.
Interest in Horses: Share if you love horses, have horses -what kind, ride-type of riding, any reasons you are connected with horses.
I have two thoroughbreds that are rescues from the racing industry. Cat Dancing is my teacher. She will not accept human dominance and for years called me a stupid human. I think I finally graduated from her school and after 22 years of learning she likes me. Mel is my friend. He wants just to be with me and give and enjoy my company and affection. I also have a very cute basset hound.
Career: Tell us what you do, if you have a horse-related business or other business, if you are a student, or want to have a career with horses.
Have have business making horse boots as mentioned in my personal information. The website is http://www.horsemocs.com.

As a holistic consultant. You can call me at 425-788-0141.

I also make clip on mane, bridle and halter clips from real gem stone to promote good energy, for their beauty and fun. (Jewelry for horses).

I would also like to promote my businesses.

Hi Erin,
Thankyou for your kind words.

Just two days ago I had to put Cat down. She had a really bad colic last Thursday and thanks to a really competent vet came out of it. However she when back in to another episode Monday. During the short time she was doing okay she told me if it happened again she wanted to go and it would be her time. So I honored her wishes. She was 25 years old. She is not the kind of horses that would have gotten old happily or gracefully. She wanted to go before all that aging stuff. She always got her way in life and now she died when she wanted to. I know she passed on easily. She is very spiritually savvy! She said was going to haunt me like Cathy in Wuthering Heights. I don't care how she stays connected. I'll welcome anyway.
